Overall I feel this final chapter could have been a lot worse compared to some more crudely developed mods and it serves as a mostly fun (and janky) Final challenge before the Nihilanth. Although the gameplay is the weakest part of the chapter, on normal difficulty I never ran into a problem that simply spamming long jump and the gluon gun couldn't solve (just run circles around the shield generators in the elevator section) liberating the alien slaves and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up all the controler's ♥♥♥♥ gave me a good feeling that helped me push through to the top of the tower. However the factory I feel gives an great balance between a dark imposing atmosphere and storytelling that wasn't in the original half life. I admit the textures were not up to par with the rest of the Game but somehow i was able to ignore it. you're constantly climbing a tower and dogging dangerous machinery in order to fight the giant space baby. While most agree that the start of the chapter in the village and chase scenes were good, the factory portion of the chapter gave me feelings of the citadel in hl2. Although I can agree that there were some bumps with pacing during the last chapter of zen (also the framerates) I felt this chapter was not as bad as everyone thinks.
